The highly anticipated film Jolly LLB 3, starring Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has hit a legal roadblock as the Ajmer District Bar Association has filed a complaint against the movie's makers. The association alleges that the film portrays lawyers and judges in a disrespectful manner that could potentially erode trust in the judicial system. Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, the president of the association, took matters into his own hands by submitting an application to the Civil Judge Court in Ajmer North, seeking a court order to halt filming until the portrayal is addressed.

Rathod expressed strong disapproval of certain scenes in the film, citing instances of violence towards lawyers, judges using tobacco products, and implied bribery as factors that undermine the respect for the court system and its officials. He argued that the characters and situations depicted in the film are unrealistic and lack respect for the judiciary, weakening public trust in both judges and lawyers. Rathod hopes that his complaint will prompt filmmakers to create more accurate and dignified representations of the legal system in future projects.

The president of the Ajmer Bar Association emphasized that the filmmakers, directors, and actors associated with Jolly LLB 3 do not seem to respect the dignity and prestige of the judiciary as enshrined in the country's Constitution. The ongoing shooting of the film in various locations, including the DRM office of Ajmer, has raised concerns about the portrayal of legal professionals in a comedic yet disrespectful manner. The association demands that the film be shelved due to its alleged tampering with the dignity of lawyers and judges.




As the legal battle unfolds, it is expected that a hearing regarding this case will take place on May 7.
